Hey guys, it’s Rachel Pluckebaum, a senior at Pike High School. I am the editor in chief of the Pike’s Peek Yearbook staff and run varsity for my cross country team. This summer I got to start off my senior year with my senior pictures being taken by the one and only JJ Kaplan.
Not only did my pictures turn out beautiful, but my session was a blast! I had my picture taken with outfits ranging from shorts and cowboy boots to a more glam look wearing my prom dress. JJ is so willing to take you to multiple locations that are just beautiful on their own. Such as a field of wild flowers and a country setting with a fence and hay stack. Of course she would go anywhere you want to have the pictures taken because she is so flexible. Talking with JJ throughout the whole session I got to know her and she took the time to get to know me in order to capture my personality in my pictures. We really bonded as did my mom and JJ. The indoor session was just as fun as the outdoor session. JJ has so many props and backdrops that you could really be there for hours-which I was! Thanks to JJ I got the perfect senior pictures I was looking for!
